Reading We are moving into non-fiction texts by reading literary non-fiction stories. We will focus on story structure, and what it means to the students. Writing We will move into creating our own memoirs. These are important memories within our lives. Math We will start fractions! starting with adding and subtracting fractions with an unlike denominator, and then moving into multiplying fractions. Science We will be focusing on light by looking at how light moves, and then refracts/reflects. Social Studies We will be continuing to learn about Native American tribes and how they adapted to their environments to live successfully in different parts of North America.
